Day 21: King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Day 21: King of Kings and Lord of Lords

Revelation 19:16, “On his robe and on his thigh, he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.” This passage describing the revelation of King Jesus always gives me chills. It’s like the end of every movie when the hero has finally conquered. We long for justice, we long for everything to be made right. We long for the coming of God’s eternal kingdom, and it will come with the unveiling of King Jesus. No matter how bad anything looks now- Jesus will conquer. No matter what evil seems to prevail and have its way, Jesus will conquer. We must consider it of the greatest honor that the eternal reigning King gave his life for us. We must worship him and offer our every allegiance. As Paul told us in Philippians 2, “every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father.” Take this last day of the 21 Days of Prayer to willingly and joyfully bow your knee to Christ the King. Express as clear as you can your thankfulness to Him for saving you. Let this be a time of praise and worship to your King. Amen – Pastor Ryan
