GOOD FRIDAY

A Call to Prayer on Good Friday

Our national movement of churches, Converge, has called for a day of prayer on fasting on Friday, April 10th, from sunrise to sundown. Let’s join together and pray for God to work during this time of global crisis, drawing people to himself around the world and in our local community.  We can focus our prayers toward Easter Sunday, that people will meet Christ and find new life in him.

We’ll conclude the time of prayer at 7pm, with an online Good Friday reflection from Pastor Ryan.

Conclusion

Share any final thoughts and reflections.

Consider concluding by singing a familiar praise song that you know like Jesus Paid it All

Jesus Paid it All

Verse 1

And I hear the savior say
Thy strength indeed is small
Child of weakness, watch and pray
Find in me thine all in all

Chorus

'Cause Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow

Verse 2

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and thine alone
Can change the leper's spots
And melt the heart of stone

Verse 3

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
My lips shall still repeat

Ending

O praise the one who paid my debt
And raised this life up from the dead
